Orpheus Unsung by Steven Mackey, Mark DeChiazza and Jason Treuting

October 6 & 7 at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
Marie and Edward Matthews ’53 Acting Studio at 185 Nassau St.

An opera for electric guitar, composed by Grammy Award-winner and Music faculty member Steven Mackey in a music-dance-theater production conceived and directed by Mark DeChiazza, and in collaboration with Jason Treuting of Sō Percussion. In this wordless opera, the Orpheus myth is shattered and remade within a space that fragments story and identity.
